This is long overdue. I highly recommend this shop! From my first call and talk with Alex, I knew I made the right decision hiring them! I went by prior reviews and I all my expectations were met. The shop may not look like the big name shops out there but don’t let that fool you. Super friendly, courteous, great body work! And got my car done within 2 weeks given I brought it in mid week and closed on weekends. I did get a quote from Caliber Collision on hwy74…which was 1k higher not including n addition to what they might have found under the hood…and was told it would take much longer …so again…I know I made the right choice and will use them again. (I will post after pics as soon as I get a car wash lol)
I recently had my car repaired at Ivan’s Body Shop, and I was very impressed with the service I received. We met today with Ion to get an estimate to have two parking lot dings repaired and repainted. We previously had another local body shop estimate $1400 to fix one of them. Ion looked at the dings and was able to quickly get the color removed and then he rebuffed it. Within 10 minutes, we were done with a repair that looked nearly as good as new. When we asked for the cost, he said it was free. This is outstanding customer service. A+ all the way. Thank you again, Ion!
Came in to get my bumper fixed, minor damage just the bumper came loose. They offered to fix it for free! Great guys over her at RDK, you should definitely check them out.
If you are reading this, you have found the place for you. I went to a different shop to get a quote and didn’t have a great experience, but then I went to RDK Auto. Alex and his father got me right in to take a look, and were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (even gave me a better quote than the previous shop). That was Tuesday evening. I called back the next morning on Wednesday to tell Alex that I wanted to go through with it, and 5 days later on Monday he called me telling it was ready for install. Incredibly fast turnaround time, considering they had to order and paint. They did a fantastic job with it, and matched the paint perfectly. At least get a quote from them.
Such an amazing job! This car was involved in a side swipe, hitting the door and Quarter panel. Found this shop through a few friends and the results are amazing. Can’t even tell where the damage is. Would highly recommend this shop and will be coming back for future work!!

Couldn’t say enough good things about this company. My son’s car got rear ended and we got quotes at other shops before we found Alex, we were giving quotes that were ridiculous high. Alex was very honest letting us know that we did not need to do repairs that were recommended at other places, he was helpful and did the job quick and flawless. Not only their work is excellent but their honesty and their ethics was exceptional.
You won’t find a better body shop in the area or nicer professional people to work with. They painted a difficult Pearl three part finish perfectly and completed the work quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend you use RDK for all your vehicle paint and bodywork.

I had a fender bender in my 2004 F150. The insurance company recommended Caliber Collision, so I took it there for an estimate. The damage appeared to be relatively minor; however, Caliber informed me that due to the age and mileage on the vehicle, it might be totaled. After one week, they informed me that they would be able to do the repairs, so I authorized it and they went ahead and ordered the parts. After two additional weeks of holding on to the vehicle with minimal communication, they contacted me stating that they would not be able to do the repairs after all since they were unable to bring the frame back within acceptable specs.
After receiving this news, I contacted RDK and spoke to Alex. It was already past 3:00 pm, but he told me if I could get the vehicle there by 6:00 pm, he would take a look at it. Upon inspection, Alex advised me that there was really no reason the vehicle should be totaled and that RDK would be able to do the repairs as long as the insurance company approved. We received the approval a few days later and RDK completed the repairs within two days of receiving all the parts.
Throughout the entire process, Alex kept me abreast of the status either by phone call or text. Beyond that, he waived my $500 deductible as part of his customer service. I was thoroughly satisfied with the excellent customer service as well as the final product, my repaired vehicle, and would highly recommend RDK for your bodywork needs.

Great body shop. Alex was super professional and easy to contact. The work was flawless. Honest pricing, no surprises, car was ready when promised. If need be, I’ll be a return customer without hesitation.
The Gl 450 had a fixed panoramic roof over the second row of seats. This was shattered on 485 due to a rock hitting it. Alex and Ivan were great to work with. They got the OEM parts and fixed it in half day and at half the cost compared to the dealership. They even provided the documentation and worked with insurance to get me reimbursed. Excellent family shop, great care and wonderful service. They really take care of you and the car like a white glove service. Won my future business for sure.
I would give SIX STARS if I could. With one small caveat for asthma sufferers or anyone else with sensitive lungs. TL:DR: this is a small family business with an incredible commitment to customer service.

The price was fair and the time was reasonable for what needed to be done. I needed the car back Friday because I have plans for the holiday weekend.
I checked in with RDK early Friday morning and found out, to my dismay that they weren’t going to have my car ready in time. They’d run into a supply problem that had caused delays and wouldn’t have time to paint the panels. I was really disappointed, but hey, life happens.
Several hours later I got a call back. To my surprise they told me they *would* have my car ready in time. I headed down to pick it up right after work.
My car looked amazing and the owner had the gall to come out and apologize. Apologize! He explained that because of the delay with the supplies he hadn’t been able to finish my panels, so he had stripped the panels *off his own car* – which was the same make, model, year, and color as mine – to make sure mine was fixed and ready. Sir, you have *Nothing* to apologize for!!
He showed me the panels he had taken off my old car. All the dents had been taken out like they were never there and I have every confidence that they’re going to look great when he can finish painting them and put them on his car.
Second, the one caveat: I saw another review point out that this place does great work, but they can leave your car a bit dusty. I can confirm that this is true. I don’t consider this their fault, and it in no way detracts from my opinion of their work. They’re a small shop and they were hurrying to get my car done in time. But if you’re an asthma sufferer, or otherwise sensitive, you may want to bring a N95 mask when you pick up your vehicle. I took mine over to a car wash and that plus a quick vacuum of the inside took care of 90% of the issue.
Overall these gentlemen are honest, easy to work with, have an amazing commitment to customer service, and do a great job from everything I’ve seen. I cannot recommend them more highly, and I know what my friends and relatives are going to get sick of hearing about how great they are by the end of this holiday weekend!

They guys at RDK are great. They did a respray of the hood on my car and it looks just like it rolled out of the dealership! Very happy with the work.
I just picked up my black Lexus from getting a part of it repainted due to some bad scuffs. RDK auto body shop did a phenomenal job. Really clean and quality work. I also needed a dent fixed and a fender realigned and they got that covered excellent as well.
If there were 10 stars, I would have made it 10!! This *over the top* professional staff, not only do an amazing job, but they’re honest, genuine concern for *customer satisfaction* is guaranteed. One of my close friends recommended me to this shop. The paint job was well done on his car, so I tried them after finding out that the dealership (Toyota of South Charlotte) could not even get the original color right on a minor job a few years ago. They even refused to fix it. So, I had no hope. Well! After only a week, I had my car back and it almost looked like new!! And for a decent price. Just one small thing, I am highly allergic to dust and wish that they would have wiped off the inside a little bit. But they did not know. Plus Alex was very nice and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I still have to get one minor thing done but I’m sure they will take care of it. I recommend this family business to everyone who wants to avoid a dealership! Don’t we all? You will have no issues here.
I was recently in an accident in my car and found these local guys. I gave them a call and they took my car in right away. Prompt and thoughtful service, and the attention to detail was phenomenal. Its as if nothing even happened to my car. They’re a father and son business, and I will make sure to come to them in case something happens in the future!

The guys at RDK do excellent work, and are a pleasure to deal with! My BMW had been rear ended a couple months ago, and of all my cars, it’s the last one I would have wanted to let go of. Others had looked at the damage with little confidence of repairing it without extensive cutting and welding, but when I brought it to RDK they reassured me that they could handle it no problem.

These guys have have their own paint matching and mixing system and perfectly match my paint with the new work. They explained every step of their process each and every time I spoke with them, and the followed up during the service time to let me know where they were in the process.
